The first Verekinthos festival took place in 2015 and its main theme was natural building and particularly a workshop for building with canes organized by the architectural group "Piloiko". At the same time ceramists of Verekinthos organized  ceramic workshops for firing the clay in primitive ways (pit-fire and paper-clay firing), as well as workshop of precautions, constructing flutes with canes, constructions with upcycling and exhibition of the works of the artist Kosmas Lilikakis. Music lives by Daulute and
other bands took place.
